I'm always wondering WHEN do I plant and WHEN will my veggies be ready to harvest? Here is a chart that may help you get started.

Chicken Mom
The chickens are almost a year and we're averaging 2-3 eggs a day which is great through winter. Its been a struggle trying to keep the chicken coop clean. Anyone have any suggestions?
We let the chickens roam free in the daytime and they nibble on the weeds and find the bugs (which is great for keeping the bugs down in the garden). We would love to get more chickens, but need to find a way to make cleaning the chicken coop easier before I sign up for any more poop.
Fall Surprise
I planted a number of things in fall to see what might happen and when the plants would produce with the colder weather. The results were fantastic considering we had frost and 2 snow storms. The plants were all very young through winter. All of my new plants and old plants survived except for basil which I planted last spring. Now I have summer veggies ready to go and we're still in March!
Sugar Peas/Asian Peas
Carrots
Cilantro
Chives, Green Onions, Rosemary
Celery
Getting Started
I wasnt nearly as excited about gardening as I am now that I'm a mom. There is something about gardening with my daughter and creating God's healthy fruit and veggies to feed my family that gets me excited.
I would like to share what I'm doing in my garden and hopefully provide a few tips that you can use for your own garden. Please feel free to share your own advice and tips!
